Our charming atmosphere makes is a
wonderful way for families and friends to enjoy hiking, skiing,
site seeing and vacationing in the beautiful historical town of
Crested Butte.
One hundred and twenty five years ago, the Mule barn was a
working barn, housing the mules used to work the coal mines. It
was located on the ledge at Trappers Crossing. Several years ago
an architect from Boulder disassembled the building and
relocated it at its present address. The building is unique in
that the entire interior of each Crested Butte condo was built using
materials from the original barn. It now consists of four
Crested Butte condos, each one of a different design and size, each one
three stories of working space. We own one of the four
condominiums at Crested Butte. The ambiance is charming and
cozy with a priceless atmosphere that can only be found in age.
Our low
rates make it a wonderful way for families and
friends (especially groups) to save money while having a
wonderful time hiking, skiing, vacationing, and site
seeing in the beautiful, historical, town of Crested

- Our condo is in the center of the barn and is
accessible from the outside. It contains...
- Three bedrooms
- One has a double brass bed
- The second has a trundle which opens up into two full
size twin beds
- The third bedroom is a large loft that hangs over the kitchen and living
room and has a willow queen size bed
- Each bedroom has a down comforter
- Each bedroom has its own thermostat
- The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher,
Jennair, and a microwave
- The kitchen has quality china and flatware and a
full assortment of cooking utensils
- There is a washer and dryer, and TV
- Within five minutes walking distance to the heart
of Crested Butte
- One and a half blocks to the tennis court and
baseball field
- Great view of Mt. Crested Butte from the kitchen
- A beautiful yard in the summertime
